Free and Discounted Phone, Internet, and Utility Programs
Staying connected and keeping the lights on aren't luxuries — you need them to work, apply for jobs, see a doctor, and manage your benefits. These programs lower the cost of phone, internet, heating, cooling, and even permanent home energy improvements. Many eligible households simply never enroll.
A note on the ACP
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ended in 2024 when its funding ran out, and it is no longer available. Lifeline is the primary federal connectivity benefit that remains active. If you were previously on the ACP, Lifeline is where to look now.
